“For a roadside motel this was above average, but not worthy of the rave reviews that brought me to stay here. It appears to be more of a bicyclists overnight stop. There is no early check-in unless you count the 30 minutes if you register yourself online. Staff arrived promptly at 3:30. For unknown reasons we were given a room with a swivel-in seat in the bathtub (like the one my 93 year old mother uses.) I took it out and used it as a luggage rack. The bathroom had one very small shelf above……

“Easy walk into town, parks, restaurants, etc. Buses run every 15 mins or so to head up to Steamboat Square.”

“It was so iconically cool ! A bit of nostalgia mixed with the fresh summer mountain air ! Being right on the Yampa River was a pleasant surprise for us passing through. This hotel was fun and super close to everything in Steamboat. Will come back and stay again ! Thank you for a great experience”
